i made the merge!!! had i knowm it would happen before we had to actually make any hard decisions at tribal council, i'd not have been worried at all until now. but before i get into what happens next... which i'll get more into tomorrow, i want to take a second to sum up what happened during the amirante days of the game.
on THE island: before tribal selection i got to sort of know amber and tyson a bit. i've continued to talk to amber throughout the amirante days but tyson has basically disappeared. i got amber to mystery island before randomization kicked in. i never learned, or asked, what she got there though. i haven't asked nayone what they've found... i didn't need to know yet. sugar and matty did not just tell me of their own will for the fuck of it, though that would have been nice. neither did amber. no one else would have. actually, when i asked sugar who went to exile last, when it was her, she said "matty went"... but then i pressed by saying, "he went first but did you notice anyone went last time? i didn't see..." sort of thing and she then said she'd gone but didn't check to see what she got. lol. i know, dumb, but i let it slide. wateva. i've set up a deal with her for now and expressed my concerns about that in here. sort of had it confirmed when brian tried to get mikey and matty to join forces against sugar and i... sort of. but sugar is still... weird. she holds back little things like when mikey mlet her know about brian's play and then i asked sugar if she had heard anything about it and she said no. and of course the exile thing. and just the way she talks... like she avoids ever having to say anything. lol. i don't read too much into it at this point. but personally, i prefer amber's company over sugar's, and i'd like to talk to her more. i'd like to actually know where she stands, for real. same with sugar... lol! matty recently asked me to talk to sugar about keeping him safe, before the merge news, since i had told him before that i was growing closest with sugar. i expressed my concern to matty about how little brian and i are talking, and just last night, after the merge news, matty suggested pairing up with brian in this challenge to make a connection with him. and make him feel included... i guess? we "decided" to try and keep the amirante people safe and alive, but before merge was announced he was okay with voting out brian next if we needed to get rid of one more. i got mikey and sugar talking, though sugar won't allude to anything ever about anyone or anything, and i am not in the business of asking things directly unless i absolutely have to, i like to save those up, and hopefully mikey's telling sugar about the brian thing will have bought atleast some trust. i think i've kept my relationship with mikey a secret, atleast for the most part. shambo started talking to me, as well, and mentioned voting out the weakest players so our island will win. i told sugar about her idea to unite the island at merge... nothing was ever decided. it's good that way, it's an idea that can float around. and the biggest thing i did was get myself the image of a tribe leader... i was just trying to help us be organized. lol. but wateva.
on the other island: before tribe selection, i talked to jon, brendan, and i was brought here by betsy. oh and i know and kind of like penny. so jon asked me who to get rid of in the first round eh? that and a whole bunch of other stuff which was annoying but i said to maybe keep penny. he did. next round i found out she was being voted out cause jon is brilliant and tells everyone everything. and i told penny she was prolly going, cause i like her, but to talk to jon and see what she can do. then it got back to jon so basically yeah... i had to start a war with him. brendan already didn't like him, and already did like me... so i'm glad that brendan made it, cause i also let betsy know... and she's got multiple people's votes to use apparently. and then i let people o nmy tribe know that jon kept annoying me so i wanted him gone if he was still around when we got the chance. lol... in a fun kind of way. i hope. so hopefully my telling penny something just cause i like her wont bite me too much. that was a dumb mistake that i hope will be... taken care of. apparently only ian and christa and jon and brendan are left from that tribe... when jon is gone, and if brendan actualyl does like me like he seems to... then it should be managable if it ever comes up... which i doubt it would with jon's demise. i hope that happens but there's really not a lot i can do.

i wonder if this being broken into partners for the challenge thing means we will be doing individual game on this island... and they will be as well... or if it's just a ploy to make us think that and then actually we find out that we are competing against the other island. it will be interesting to see.
anyway... what i have to do now is start worrying a bit about the people who've gone to msytery island. i'd like to see if i could find out what amber got and what sugar got... and what matty got. lol. or even just 2 or 1 of them. lol... i especially need to find out what places they chose when they were there, in case i ever get sent. and i need to find out, for real, where i stand with amber. i'm talking to tyson right now. i'll report on that later. i need to talk to shambo again... she talks to everyone, by the way. ummmm... i need to find out what's up with sugar... and see if she starts to open up a bit more. she chose me immediately in this challenge, and she started talking to me about strategy out of the blue... maybe she feels she finalyl needs something from me? she also asked me to join her game she is co-hosting... i really dont want to play 2 at once, especially on dialup, and being very busy lately... but i hate to say "no" someone i currently need things from.
there are multiple options if this is an individual game... basically they are unite the island or really begin to set up for a transition to another alliance come merge...
uniting the island would be good because i could leave it up to shambo or someone else to be the head of. i could just provoke her in such a way that she'd do it... and then i could jsut do my part and focus on creating friendships. and not worry about being voted out because the point of whta we'd be doing is getting rid of the weaker players.
but then i could also just try and vote off those i see as a threat to me... like shambo. try and just make it me and the people i like but i dont think they would all work together... amber likes shambo, i could not just get sugar to go right to amber and tyson, tyson isn't liked by amber that much i dont think...
and another question... keep it tribal? like amirante? now that matty has started talking more...
? i could try and bring mikey and sugar over to amber... but i don't like the idea of who amber would choose as a fifth. and that she'd want that person, obviously, to be more than jsut a fifth.
not to mention i am not comfortable with talking THAT much, and coming off that strategic or that much like an organizer. i need to do my bidding as quietly as possible... a huge move like that, all at once, is just way too big of an undertaking to do quietly. so doing that would mean also changing my entire strategy...
